The Gifts of Mankind

The Gifts of Mankind

We would have nothing to breathe, without smoke
We would have nothing to walk on, without concrete
We would have nothing to do,
without weapons
We would have nothing to love,
without currency
We would have nothing to lose,
without each other
Let´s be thankful for the gifts of mankind

Being Me

This is an interesting write. It is satirical to the core. These "gifts" of mankind are not nice gifts really are they? Grass is great to walk on as is the sand or forest floor. Fresh air is best to breathe. If only we could all realise a more natural, harmonious way to live.

We would have nothing to love, without currency

sadly this is so true. Brilliant poem x
