The Girl on The Piano

i peer out from the top of balcony

In the middle of the stage, there my eyes laid upon a girl in a velvet gown sitting in front of a grand piano

she took a deep breath, and closed her eyes.

my mind pondered to why she was there alone, soon i felt the atmosphere around the entire building change

Her arms raised to the sky, then they began their descent from the heavens and landed on the keys of the piano

that very first key was the start of something great, the sound of that key bounced around the room and echoed into my heart, felt like a gust of wind hit my in the face, my eyes lit up.

She began her performance

Her fingers danced across the keys, such mastery of the flow of her hands showed her grit and passion

she was enjoying it so far, the smile on her face was apparent, but then it grew stern.

the melody began strong, as time moved on, to which it felt slow

Her song grew more soft and solemn.

the emotions coming from her ballad resonated in my heart.

Her pain had me entangled, i was stuck in the pitfall trap of the music she is creating

i have never felt such a feeling, this song was too beautiful to even think a human had conceived it

The more she played the more elegant she became.

Sudden the tone grew even more heavy and slowly faded.

It then starting picking up and in a burst energy it sprung to life

The girl had a glimmer in her eyes, she was on fire now

Anyone could see this is what she lives and breaths on this earth to do, this was her great passion in life, her very core, her soul!

Her fingers never missed a beat, they didn't stop moving an inch, she began to sweat

Unbelievable, and breath taking is how to describe this display of human compassion

left and right her body began to sway with the music, she was in more of trance then i was

Lost in the creation, not wanting to leave it, the yearning desire of it going on for an eternity

She played and played and played

the melody took flight, it was intense, it was as if i had jumped off a plane at 3000 ft from the ground.

Hard hits on the specific keys, she had started to wane, the song grew weaker and weaker until she finally stopped

She had reached the climax of her fantastic show, with a big sigh of relief and a refreshing smile.

For a few minutes i was in a shock, the roller-coaster ride of emotions, the vivid images of her piece

A tear had rolled down my face and what else could i do but stand and clap for this amazing artist

The girl in the velvet gown whipped off the sweat from her brow and looked up at me clapping, finally noticing my presence.

She stood up, walked up to the edge of the stage and bowed as if the room was fulled to the brim with people

We exchanged gazes to each other again once her head rose up to look, this moment we shared or more the feelings and experience she gave me, i will never forget.

For the rest of my days, i will always remember the girl on the piano
