The Gods Within

Alala gives the war cry
while Kratos provides
the strength
The innerÂ
struggle
continues...............
Honos
Is beckoned
to sustain
chilvary
andÂ
justice
The sword will reign...........
A Man's battle
is ongoing
for theÂ
formation
continues
to evolve
when success
seems
imminent
Failure
slithers up
like a Serpent
ready
to swallow
its prey
In the end
the diligenceÂ
of Pegasus
will allowÂ
this mortal
to prevail
providing
honor
to theÂ
descendants
and steadfast
entrance
into the fields
of Elysium....................

Hey SIR GREGORY!!... wow!..... you really did have some fun yesterday.... this is such a clever write..... interweaving mythological gods and characters so perfectly to their given representations.... now don't laugh cuz I may get some of this wrong but I love mythology..... the word ALALA is an actual battle cry used in Greek mythology which you cleverly reinforce with Kratos (Nike's brother) who was the God of Power and strength (I think) and HONOS ~ the god of military justice and Honor are all beautifully supporting this representation of their life-struggle to reach the fields of Elysium... which I think was their version of Heaven.... or at least I remember Russell Crowe using that term in the movie 'Gladiator'...... this is truly creative and well researched poetry.... the kind of write I love because there is so much 'Meat On The Bone'.......PINNED for its truly educational beauty!!...... you knocked this one out of the park Brother!!...LOVE IT!!....... Kings To You!!.......T\\
I actually wrote this from your own influence. Â Directly you. Â You are right! Â I used the Gods to make descriptions. Â Perseverance and a Pegasus etc. Â I appreciate you my friendÂ
REALLY???..... what influence are you referring to?
You take us beyond a reader’s normal vocabulary and present it in a way that is eloquent and digestible to the intellect.  I adore your poetry Tony!
