You've seen us behind closed doors

and out in public

one filled with turmoil and angst

the other with humour and reconcile

so you decide

do you want frantic obsession

built upon the pilons of her stilettos

striding clean white tiles

or a blasé stroll in the park

in my rugged bare feet?
