The Great Lover
Valentino arrived in heaven, angels queued in turn,
'Thank God,' they said, 'Not to the other place to burn,
'What made you a ladies man?' They chorused together,
'Well,' The Sheik of Arabi twirled his cloak, 'I'm here forever.'
'They swooned for me, died for me, now read your history,'
Casanova sat sulking in a corner, bored with mystery,
God's house had many doors, 'Not that one, it's gay room,'
where you'll find Rock Hudson and Tom Selleck, others loom.
Romeo looked for a balcony but there were none in heaven,
they were all ground floor apartments, so he had to give in,
he picked up his lute, sauntered, tripped over Redford's toes,
who once offered a million dollars for a night ,'anything goes.
Then there was me, 'Who does he think he is?' They came to see,
brown eyes, muscles, abs and pecs, with a heavenly red Ferrari.
