The harbour lights are calling πŸ™

Now those harbour lights are calling me from that far away pier

As I stand feeling forlorn with sorrowfulness and fear

Wishing that I could espy that silhouette of your sailing ship so clear

But that big old masquerading moon is shadowing, from his shiny, symmetrical sphere

Can that be you calling me amidst the squawking Seagulls screech?

I scrutinise yon hazy horizon, my feet in sinking sands on the briny beach

Oh but can my eyes be deceiving me with that sight far from my reach?

My heavy heart lies languished, as I pray to the good Lord above and beseech
