Poem -

The hill

The hill

For me
I have
Pain

Memories
Taken
Time
Passed

Always
Thinking
About
Getting on top
Of the hill

Believing
The way
Down on
The other
Side
Would
Be easy
Going

I see the
Stop sign
up above
A thousand feet
Or so
until.
I get there

My lungs 🫁
🔥burn
My legs
Like a 🧽 sponge
But
I am almost
There

Take my hand
We will.push
Ourselves
Together
Until the
Very end

The anticipation
Of getting
There
Is the fuel
That keeps me
Going

For the sake of this planet's entire English speaking population, please stop writing. Or at least stop publishing. You could do so many other things with your life, (well, maybe not, you seem pretty limited.) Why, why, why do you insist on being a shitty poet?

Being Me

A polite request, odessaboris, If you do not like Greg's work then don't read it.   Simples. Let's not have the pages of Cosmo turned over to a hate campaign. There is enough bitterness in the world without unnecessarily adding to it. Don't like what you read? Fine ...move on. Let's try and be nice... if you can't be nice then be quiet. I apologise if I offend, I dont mean to, I am just offering some friendly advice 🙂

In your mind, are you still crawling through the rice paddies with an M16 A2 in your hands? POGUE

Greg... I hope you don't let this idiot get to you. From their words it is quite clear this is a personal attack.  Keep writing!  I like what you have written here. Your style is unique x

Cherie
I am okay.  This guy has some real issues.  Mr. Vigilante who is a great protector of no one.  I served my country both as a soldier and in law enforcement.  I did something with my life.  Jeremy lives in mommy's house.  He drinks constantly.  He makes up stories of how important he is and spends time looking up various subjects, so he can pretend that he is a great intellect.  I tried to help the dude, but every time I did, he blamed his past ( which is really nothing, as he made this up too) for not moving forward.  I really don't care what he says about me.  It really does not matter.  Jeremy you don't matter.  Your irrelevant.  Your no more important than the dirt that gets on my shoe, when I walk on soil.
