The Honeymooners- Part I

We just found some long-lost photographs, from our lovely honeymoon;
They brought back such tender memories, our hearts began to swoon!
So I’ve decided to write some poems, about those most wonderful ten days;
Of course, some of it is censored, and private it will stay!
.
We were leaving for it on June the sixth, we were married the evening before;
At Linda’s Sister’s palatial estate, with guests of sixty-four!
Our wedding was so very elegant, we served only “La Crème De Crème”;
We wanted it to reflect our love, the purest of all known gems!
.
There was music, dancing, and fine food, we partied several hours;
People brought gifts and large white envelopes, generous cash on us they showered!
Linda was a classy wife, she smeared no wedding cake on my face;
I was thinking about what she would give me later, as my heart began to race!
.
They gave us a regal send off, our guests all waved goodbye;
I drove us to the Hilton, my gorgeous wife right by my side!
The rest I leave to conjecture, but I’ll bet you get it right;
It’s not hard to figure out what happened, on our Blessed Wedding Night!
.
.
Night like no other
We became Husband and Wife
Our Souls wore the rings
