The Honeymooners- Part VI- Rose Kennedy

The Honeymooners- Part VI- Rose Kennedy

On our last day we went into Hyannis, a town so very chic;
We had heard about a rare rose collection, so we went to take a peek!
There were over one hundred lovely varieties, one named for Rose Kennedy;
Their beauty and scents were like perfume, I pulled Linda close to me!
.
I told her of all the flowers, I have seen here on this day;
You are hands down the most beautiful, for in my “flower bed” you lay!
Like the dew on Rose’s petals, she had a teardrop in her eye;
She said “Now you’ve gone and done it, you’ve made me start to cry”!
.
We ate lunch at an upscale Trattoria, eggplant parm the bill of fare;
The photo above was taken, while we were eating our meal there!
Our last dinner we ate by candlelight, in the privacy of our room;
As we consummated our final evening, as a brand new Bride and Groom!
.
“All good things must come to end”, to quote the old cliché;
“Time flies when you are having fun”, now it was our leaving day!
But for us it was the beginning, of our beautiful new lives;
After a phenomenal ten day honeymoon, we start our journey as man and wive!
.
.
                             The end had now come
                         With a brand new beginning
                               As Husband and Wife
