Trumps troops have most been ousted, and replaced with honest folk!
His plans to harm America, will be thwarted every turn;
Our Social Security and our Healthcare, he will not be able burn!

Plus, there’s the promise of further investigation, of his collusion with Vladimir;
Mueller is coming after him, in his boots, he shakes with fear!
The truth is going to come out, with impeachment imminent;
That will rid us of this tyrant, with such Hitler like intent!

The voters came to your rescue, now you will live another day!
This writer is on cloud nine, the erudite have prevailed;
Trump’s dreams to be a dictator, thank God, now all will fail!

I agree with you. Most politicians do not have the people's best interest at heart. But, I just feel for right now, the Democrats are the lesser of two evils. At least we can breathe a sigh of relief that Trump can't attack our Social Security and Medicare, now that he has lost control of the House. It is a sick world that we live in.
These pharmaceutical companies have got to be stopped from charging such astronomical prices for pills. Somehow, the government has to put an end to it.
But, as you say, there is so much in our Country that has to be amended. I don't know if you read about it, but the New York Times published a very interesting report around two months ago, stating that there was a group of over 20 high up Republicans, that secretly hate Trump, and what he stands for. Trump went crazy trying to find out who they were, even making idle threats about suing the paper.
To this day, no one knows who they are, but I feel that soon, their loyalty to America will be working in our favor.
I think you and I are on the same page here.

Not sure how you think Democrats are honest. I don't believe the republicans are either, but when you pretend to care about the average Joe and then as the speaker of the house demand that you be flown on a Jet to take you non stop to San Francisco at a whopping $488000 a month, like Nancy did, then your caring about average Joe does not seem credible. The Democrats are no better then the Communist during the Soviet Era. They promise to care but enslave the common folks in the process. There is no such thing as a free ride. Every time the government gives you something whether is healthcare or Welfare, then a piece of your freedom is taken as payment.
Anyone with sense knows that the Russian Collusion was made up and paid by the Hilary Campaign. The whole thing is a sham. Did Russia interfere with our election? Yes of course they did and it was not the first time. We also interfere with different countries election. This is common knowledge. Our country would truly start to become better if our people would stop living in the fairy tale stories that the Politicians have shoved down our throats and start living in Truth. Maybe then these 2 corrupt parties would clean themselves up.

You and I, have agreed to disagree. There are so many other common bonds that we have, but when it comes to politics, we are both firmly staunch in our beliefs, and neither of us is going to convince the other to change.
