The hurt of war

We live to die
while others die to live
wars rage on
Stormy skies 
Trying to salvage pride
fear and loathing 
Emotions flowing 
Scared hearts beating 
hopes left fleeting 
the past repeating 
unjust
Mistrust 
Children dying 
Families  crying 
Death and pain 
feeling hurt
why is  life so 
Absurd
