The Hypocrite

The Hypocrite

I think
the realization
that I am
a hypocrite

Is a self-reflection
that I prefer
not to concede to.

I think
knowing that
one point
in my life
I held
hate in
my heart

is a shame
that is
hard to bear

sure it
is tempting
and something
I have done

to deflect
my own
sins
to  the fact
that every human
has sat
in the position
I am in

but

My sins
are mine
 yours
is yours

and
I must own up
to my own
hypocrisy
