Poem -
The Island Of Ecstasy
I feel the fires of passion.
They burn uncotrollably in the heart of my soul.
No power on Earth can extingush them.
Only you my love can allay my flames.
You take me in your arms.
My knees grow weak.
I succumb to my innermost desires.
You enter my world.
I leave it.
Rocketed explosions take me to distant galaxies.
My trip comes to its end.
I smoothly reenter Earths’ atmosphere.
I land gently, in “the sea of love”.
There, you wait for me.
We ride its whispering waves.
They return us to our private island.
We are marooned in uncharted ecstasy.
Forever there, shall we stay.

Hi Tony,
As usual, every time you write me, my ego goes raging out of control. This was one of my rare attempts at freestyle, and I rather enjoyed it. It's my favorite stroke in swimming, so it should be easy to incorporate more of it into my poetry. Thanks again, brother poet.
