THE JOKERS DEAL

THE JOKERS DEAL

The many-sided morning
Brings feelings and ghosts
From the real turned fantasy
into an unknown reality
Miscellaneous collectives
and cracker-jack objectives
Surreal inventions
with real intentions...

The deal of life is a fierce ruse
A puppet show of deception
In a theatre of revelation
An audience in muse is
Conscripted to gamble.
On a long shot in the dark
For a daredevil and dangerous
adventure.

A crow's nest is a luxury
Telescopes are a privilege
but the view from above
is nanoscopic !
The primary low and under-most
are sightless
Engaging the devils angels and
carrying gods demons
The thief moves to conceal
playing the jokers deal.

Repetition is often the bane of life
The lines are drawn again and again
The words are spoken over and over
They come with experience
They come with emotions
that never go and
must release.

This is an occurrence in space
A tattle in the tittle
relentlessly unreliable
but frequently special
Vital and indispensable
elementary essential
Chapters unwritten
Like the wind on the window

Signals never de-coded
body language all missed
words misinterpreted
changing the way ahead
No portent of things to come
The omen is hidden
Witless and senseless
Nevertheless relentless

When the boat sets sail
It is carried by water
not the bilge
in bits the twaddle still floats
The waves are aimless
despite the force of gravity
The speaker talks to an encounter
that is unthinking and heedless
Trying to place meaning
into the unfathomable

The one-sided day
is real they say......
Because the multi layers
need assorted eyes
they see variation of different things
Concealed and lurking
The speck of dust is coming;
The kaleidoscope at the end of tunnel
is open to imagination
with surreal intentions
and real inventions.
The catcher moves to reveal
The jokers deal.
