The King

The King

Of all the stories that I’ve missed
These tears in the ‏river
For the short girls that I did kiss
That sent a bloody shiver
As all the guns held to heads
All the lives run to down mouth
Now all the whores in broken beds
That moved west,  north, east,  south
Broken heart beaten by time
A glass eye looking down, down
Everything else seems so sublime
Glory glory king‏ now crowned

God saved my life tonight
Looked upon my soul
Brought the dark to light
A cry for help now whole
