THE LAND OF SMILES

THE LAND OF SMILES

When I was in my youth I got by on just a smile
Everyone was friendly to me and wanted to hangout

Now I'm in midlife everyone puts me down
Now only money talks here
Persecution and jealousy goes hand in hand

Jealous of my smile they were they changed it to a frown
But I won't let them get me down right now
For the land of smiles I will go and change this frown around.

Turning that frown upside down :) I like it. There is strength in this poem
