THE LAND WHERE ALL DREAMS ARE POSSIBLE
Once upon a time in a far off land
there stood a chair so tall and grand
It was said if you slept there you
could dream all that was possible
your hearts desire, everything
was there for you, no obstacle.
In this land lived a princess
heart full of love so tender
She`d sit there drift off and dream
of her prince with awe and wonder
She dreamed he`d ride to her land
on a magnificent, black steed
He`d sweep her off her feet take her away
and fulfill her every need
one day her dream of them together
she knew would all come true
and she`d ride off with her prince
start their life as one anew
But For now, all her love and care
she bestowed upon her people
Helping them with everything
compassion to the needy poor and feeble
until that time came in the land
where dreams, are made
together in love for real
and no longer in dreams displayed.

Hi Cherie I saw the picture of the chair and liked it. i think
it is the first time i have written a poem of a picture i saw
i usually write a poem then a title, then look for a picture,
i agree with you that dreams inspire us for goals to come true also

Hi Tony I really liked the picture ,I agree totally it was very difficult to get
the right words for a story from a picture i re worked it and re worked it
I have been at it all day and still not entirely happy with it maybe a
work in progress. Thank you for your comments they are helpful and supporting
and i`m always ready to learn. I dont think i will be attempting this again

Not only do I love your poem but I love the chair too, I want it for my garden too please!! My son-in-law, Neil, Georgina`s husband is a carpenter, I`m going to show him your picture and hope he takes the hint, it would be a lovely birthday present for me in September wouldn`t it?!! To sit there on it and dream would be wonderful.
The possibilities for writing ideas are simply endless sweetie and pushing yourself, as you have said you have here, has simply brought to the fore your considerable talent. Don`t be afraid to try anything because you are a talented writer and the more you push yourself the better you feel about yourself and your capabilities. I have great faith in you and I want you to never forget that sweetie as we all have faith in you and your talent. I`m so proud of my Debs.
