The landrule

The landrule

When I lost the rule of my land
by the mother,
I let my father in…

Too pristine my days were,
perhaps,
still, I lost being self.

The land was not barren,
but heart was hemmed in
by rootless words,
heart was stonewalled by mind
and I found none to love,
closing my life to any who would.

Yet all those years you were
my shadow and I hardly knew.

I know I was your shadow
also, seeking to take root
and grow leaf by leaf entwined.

The heartless marshes did never get us,
miraculously.

Up we came full circle
and the path remains faithful –
heart (ours) has nature now, to breathe life
into roots.

You kept me from the cold tomb,
and in return I bring you my sun,
my moon,
my stars
(tears and all)
to shine into your fears.

May our stars ever save our souls,
lead the path to our karmic north.

The land sustains truthful rythm,
clear dance to the drums
as long as we are for !You

Yes, luck was with us that we both decided to study English in Amsterdam (my wife came from the south of France (she is Dutch and her grandfather lived there, so for her it was convenient😇. I went for to be trained as a translator/interpreter from the south of The Netherlands and Amsterdam was the only place where I could be trained📝. Hugzaplenty
