Poem -

The Last Dance of Death

As the quilts were lain, we did a dance
We turned, then folded, and held our stange
My tears blurred my eyes, with heavy breath
As we walked thrugh the motions of the dance of death
All dressed in white we looked so pure
Through inside my heart was cut quick to the core
The food I ate as nothing but bland
For all I could think of were those who slipped away,
Like fingers through the sand
They were like bubbles, blown by a child
Gone in a glance, but there for a while
They faded over time, and eventually disappeared
Now we go through the dance of death
Our faces stained and teared
