~ THE LIGHT OF FOREVER ~
{secrets of the pyramids}
Kiss, the secret yellow with me
In the forever melt of icy day
Where salty stairways gleam
Dare, do dare, give the dream a taste
The taste of knowing's array...
Climb, the heights with me, sweet forever
And on the sleeping dead, loose the fears
Upon leaves of trampled conjecture
Deposit their most rusted-colored tears
Retrace, accumulated journeys unclear...
Learn, the morning's promise with me
Within the quiet of the mind's eye
There waits a cool whispers possibility
The burning answer to the question why
There exists the light of creation inside...
Dare, do dare, go far beyond the conjecture
Fly free, upon wings, made from the light of forever...

This poem truly truly took me back to my ascent on the 18 golden steps of Ayyappa in Sabarimala, Kerala: a pilgrimage I went on with the Holy Spirit (Shaasta Dharma) and where I beheld a new vision (darshana) of the Self (Christ/Atman).
Thank you ... we converged through your word selection on one of the top 3 highlights of my life.

Well, Tony, thanks for your encouragement. Yes I do like learning from fellow writers. Quite often, as you know, it's difficult to understand some work without knowing the writer's mind ;))
Besides "the secret yellow", I don't get the whole meaning of the 2nd stanza. Some words mean something for the author, but aren't necessarily understood by some readers like me. Cheers.
