THE LITTLE BOY AND HIS CHIMP

This little boy always had a chimpanzee in tow
Where he got him from I really don't know 
Wherever the boy went the chimp went too
People thought the chimpanzee belonged in a zoo 

The boy and the chimp were the best of pals
This little boy had no time for other guys and gals 
Three years of friendship ended in the summer of July 
The young boy was upset and started to cry

Don't you cry my sweet and caring little boy 
Having chimp memories gave you so much joy 
These memories will help you in your later years 
So put away your sadness and dry your tears
