The Little Mockingbird 💕

The Little Mockingbird 💕

Now if I was a Mockingbird, well I would surely sing

Throughout the thorny forests my echoing could ring

Where nobody would stop me making my melodies, no not a single living thing

I am certain that there could be so much happiness with all the joy that I should bring..

And that little Mockingbird would always give her very best

Nurturing her nestlings whilst sleeping at rest

Underneath my furry plume, with my feathery vest

When my only mission in life would be to fulfil my Mothering quest

I would belt out my bird chorus throughout that sunlight of the day

As my little mini mes could dream and dance the night away

Whilst I was watching the starry skies I would bow down my head and pray

That my life would be so beautiful, come what may…
