Poem -

The lonely beach.

I may never feel
my lover's breath, fall soft against my skin

He had war'd
there with his death' , my love - he did not win

Capsized angels in my tears, lay reefs around the rocks, there in my eternal ocean, lay tears
And time - made clocks

Waves of torment crashing down, and washed upon my aching soul, the figure standing
Distant, took light
Whom made me whole

The lonely beach still calls my name, in the town were we made love

Before the angels came for him, and snatched
Him from above

I drive the roads we traveled, yet I'm alone with only my fears, and he is nowhere to be found, been gone for many years.
