The Magic Lamp

If I thought there was a “Magic Lamp” somewhere, on far and distant sands;
I would travel the beaches of the world, just to get it in my hands!
When I found it, I’d rub it gently, and a Genie would appear;
He’d grant me my three wishes, the first, I’d want you here!
The second, I’d wish for our perfect health, and a score of years to share;
So neither of us would have to worry, the other would e’er be there!
I’d never leave your side again, we’d be like shadows in the sun;
We’d kiss and hold, and play a lot, as each new day was begun!
The third wish would be a tough one, I’m not sure the Genie could it give;
For I’d want our souls to be inseparable, and throughout eternity to live!
But if he said he could not grant it, I’d rely on God to see our love;
And bring us simultaneously, to His Kingdom up above!

If I should have such a magic lamp...my first wish would be to have Nico back to this side of life....second for Cody's health to be perfect....third to see all my Cosmo friend....including Linda, Nico and Cody and to share happy moments with them...Hope the Genie won't think I'm selfish
Hi Sweet Rose,
Such beautiful words. Â You would make any Genie very happy to grant you these three wishes, for they are based on the love you have for others. Â I must have dreamt of a magic lamp the day that I found you.
Love,
Daddio xxx
P.S. Â Your words have touched me to my core.
Love,
Linda

My Dear Brother Tony,
I think my grasp on the totality of a poem, came from osmosis, after reading hundreds of yours. Â You honor me with your beautiful words. Â You have taught me with your beautiful prose. Â You have made me a friend for life.
Peace, Love and Rockets,

Hi  Larry I loved this, the story you created
of the genie is  greatÂ
I wish you could have your wishesÂ
and if I had some, they would be along theÂ
same lines as yoursÂ
Love n hugs Debs xox
Hi Dear Debs,
It's so wonderful to lose ones self in prose and for a while, to live ones fantasy. Â It's also wonderful to have dear friends on Cosmo who commiserate with these dreams. Â Thank you for these lovely words.
Hugs, Peace and Love,
Larry xxx
