 We love the beautiful meadow
Its been enjoyed by others, over many years
To loose this beauty,from our line of site
Would bring so many,to tears

 The land is up for development 
Another green belt plight
To turn a natural wonder
Into a busy, building site

 Put the breaks on new development 
Give the land a chance
 Let our children,enjoy this space
With play,songs or dance
 May they,soak up the beauty
As we have done for years
 Fill their hearts,with happiness 
Not,disappointed tears
