The Memories Of Tomorrow

The Memories Of Tomorrow

The Memories of Tomorrow, start with the beginning of today;
Some will be remembered, yet some will fade away!
But those of true importance, are etched forever in one’s mind;
Stored in life’s vast filing system, so easy there to find!
.
Many will bring pure happiness, but others will bring tears;
Fates pendulum keeps swinging, throughout our lifelong years!
There are déjà-vus of loved ones, and the joys with them we shared;
But coupled with their departures, our hearts and Souls so pared!
.
Each day we pray that our memories, will be gratifying and good;
That our faces will be smiling, like for most times, they should!
But then there comes adversity, a day sent straight from Hell;
That will never be forgotten, bringing back a loved one’s final knell!
.
.
Thoughts of yesterdays
Can bring happiness or tears
The balance of life

HI dear Larry....There are days that are sweet and massaging in our memories, and others that feel like a curse to follow us the rest of our days...I can relate...Life is so unpredictable and goes up and down in what it brings...and it is hard not to let the painful ones dictate how we view the future....But hope is always a gamble in life and there to surprise us....I love the title and set up for making memories for tomorrow.  I hope you and Linda always have beautiful days ahead together.  xo Love n Hugs

My Dear Cherie,

I totally agree, that oft times the saddest memories, seem to permeate our minds, while with the happy ones, we try to assuage our pain.  Life's pendulum never stops swinging, and as I get older, I have more and more trouble accepting adversity.
Thank you for your lovely words about Linda's and my future happiness.  We too, wish for you and Tony, many decades of lovely bliss.

All our love,
Linda and Larry xxx

My Dear Jill,

I think subconsciously, some of us choose to forget bad memories, and remember only the good ones.

All my love,
