The Mighty Hand of God

When I first started to walk
I listened and you taught
I wanted to hold your hand
But I was a Christian baby
So I visualized holding one finger
Just like when I was little with my earthly dad

All I had to do was reach
For His child to grab
One finger till I grew
He brought balance to stand
He sturdied my walk
With one finger on His hand

As I grew in His love
I went  to a bigger finger
But never let go

I'm still not worthy
To hold His whole hand
But I live in the knowledge
When we meet face to face
He will extend His hand

In heaven I'll hold His hand
The mighty hand of God
In the palm of His hand
I'll be
In the Mighty Hand of God

Thank you Terry nice write, it's comforting to know the the gods always that close, that all we need to do is reach out and take his hand something that I've had to do many times in my life and no matter how unfaithful I was he was always faithful his hand was always there God bless you Terry nice right Harry
