The monochromatic rainbow

The monochromatic rainbow

Like a balmy breeze,
She announces her arrival amid drops of dew.

Like a forbidden fruit,
'Drew me to the mud where a lotus grew!

Like an irresistible scent,
In her thoughts remains, my brain imbue.

Like a profound pleasure
Her aura must have made my passions outgrew.

Like a surreal dream
Our memories faded into fragrance and flew.

The road I chose
Tremendously treacherous it was,
Every passing moment was a wound
And every glimpse of her, a boon!
