The Monster

The Monster

The anger is a monster
It shapes and breathes on its own
Happiness it slaughters
Leaving me on my own
What doesn’t kill it makes it stronger
She all smiles not even a groan

A beautiful faceless monster
Engulfing smiles so misery lasts longer
If you show weakness she’ll be a taunter
Absorbing negativity she can’t produce
But she can conjure
Cant shake her, running won’t drop her
Following slow in a saunter
Shell catch up and concour

Viewing the mirror, I realize she is me
I am the monster
