Poem -

the monster within wants happiness

The day is short. The night is long. The darkness is lonely. The bed is cold no body to warm it. The corner is my  refuge. Because within it the sides hold me while rock myself to sleep. Tears stains on my shirt are memories of time when I was happy full of love. But tonight sleep is even afraid to come. The corner pushes me away. I shiver because when I rise out of the corner, its not me but a monster. Tried of being hurt, tried of being forced into that corner by your heartless attaches. The monster in me is coming for you. We want to be happy, we are taken back our happiness.
