The morning people

The morning people

We are not the majority
Those who begin , Before mornings first light.
We are not the majority
Those who start just as the day emerges from the night.

None of us are fully awake.
None of us are long out of bed .
The body clock doesn't know what to make .
Dusk plays with its head .

Yawning a plenty , Sleep still fogging the mind
I see the sporadic others
I know they are just as tired  .

We are the morning people
Starting before most folk arise .
Hopefully getting home a bit earlier
But we do pay a price ....
