THE MOST IMPORTANT GIFT

 
Didn't get any socks for Chrimbo this year
No fancy jumper also did not appear 
After shave or smellies were not my gift 
No candy either for the ultimate sweet lift 

The book I wanted is still in the bookstore 
The shirt I wanted is still in the shop drawer
Food and drink they were not given to me 
Did receive something though which was free 

What is the gift I hear you all about to say
The answer is love which I get every day
I get it from friends both near and far 
More importantly I get it from sister and ma
