The Museum Of The Master

The Museum Of The Master

Inspired by Cherie Sumner’s brilliant poem “Salvation’s Painting”

I am humbled as He portrays me,
The Master’s canvas comes to life.
He puts me in the foreground,
With sweet Angels running rife.
.
One last stroke and He is finished,
It will hang on Heaven’s Walls.
In “The Museum Of Humanity”,
The most sacred one of all.
.
I marvel at His magnificence,
As I gaze upon His oeuvre great.
Each work filled with compassion,
All hearts and Souls He sates.
.
.
     The Master at work
    In Heavenly Studios
    Painting His Angels

Dear Charu,

Cherie's wonderful poem inspired me more with each beautiful word I read.  I am an Art Dealer by trade, so to craft this poem, juxtaposing a love of both God and Art, came very easily for me.
Thank you for your most lovely comment.  Your words move me deeply.

Love,
Larry xxx
