The Nest

The Nest

First the mother must gather her nest
without any hands or fingers
weaving a home for her tiny little eggs
it’s there they will sit and linger
Every night she’ll patiently sit
protecting her precious eggs
and then one day they crack and split
and enjoy a brand new day
