It has been so decreed
by those collectively deemed
to be best for positions of authority
that all public policy
shall no longer be the dominion
of scholarly experts in the field
but instead will be influencer driven

These bellwethers of public opinion
know instinctively
what's best for we sheep
of limited awareness
and really poor discernment ability

Those demonic demons of dissent
who may mock or dare question
this popular orthodoxy
will be dealt with quite harshly
so they may not undermine
the now undisputed validity
of the New Knowledge
