The Night Has Eyes

Darkness....
And there is a certain quietness in the air
As if that nothing is there,
And quietness is all around us now,
Can you just hear the stillness and how
Strange is seems.

All is quiet as the frogs call for rain,
Then what remains
Yet the rain didn't come this time
But I believe it'll happen before the dawn breaks.

And the night has eyes everywhere you see
As the stars are witnesses to all that can be
Watching everywhere.....
