The Novice Novelist

The Novice Novelist

As anyone
who is
familiar
with my
work
knows
I am quick
to take
an idea
a subject
or emotion
and create
instantly
a piece
of poetic
work

Good?
Bad?
or
Indifferent?
Most critics
will
agree
on one thing
I am quick
very decisive
and unapologetic
when
I create
from ink

So now
that I
have
subcumbed
to the
desires
of some
of my
devoted
readers
and loved
ones
by agreeing
to write
a mystery,
I am now
in a panic,
as
quick
wit
just
won't
do
in a
novel

One needs
A strong hook.
Active reader involvement in piecing together information.
Red herrings.
Suspenseful dialogue.
Effective, descriptive mood and language.
Well-structured chapters.
To write a successful
Mystery book

Damn
that means
more
indepth
structure
and thought
rather
than just
a quick
impulsive
creative
mind

Well shit!
I will
give
it a
go.....
