The Office Girl (For Georgina)

The Office Girl (For Georgina)

There is a girl that’s in her office, that makes my heart beat fast;

I don’t know if she realizes it, but I think she’s a foxy lass!

I can see her through the office window, sitting sexy on her chair;

Working hard on her computer, not seeing my stolen stares!

She drives me freaking crazy, the hottest of the hot;

I want to ask her for a date, if she’d give me a fair shot!

But when I’m near her I lose my chutzpah, and blabber all my words;

I need to grow cahones, for this is just absurd!

So I’ve made my mind up to go and tell her, that I want to take her out;

That I’ve loved her from the first day; that I saw her move about!

I pray that she’ll reciprocate, and say yes to our first date;

For I think that it’s finally happened, I have found my true soulmate!

Postscript:  Not only did she agree to a first date, but four months later Georgina and Geoff

Were married, and have spent over forty years, happily ever after!

I love it my Larry, thank you. After 3 weeks of dating he told me that he loved me and after just 3 months of dating he proposed to me on Christmas Eve. He took me to a beautiful castle hotel for a lovely meal. A waiter escorted us to our table then the owner of the castle brought a beautiful boqay of red roses over to me then Geoff suddenly got down on one knee and proposed! I said yes straight away! but was so shocked that I burst into tears and had to run to the rest room to sort myself out...lol! We were married 6 months later, he`d already booked the wedding ceremony too. We were married on the 1st of June 1985.

Thank you for this lovely surprise, you`ve made my day sweetie.

I love you

Hi Dear G,

I knew you were royalty, even getting engaged in a castle.  There's nothing like tears of joy.  Interestingly, our anniversary is June 5th and my sisters birthday was June 1st.  In fact, my parents anniversary was June 11th.  They do say that the most beautiful brides get married in June (not to mention, the most handsome grooms, ha, ha!).

Love you,

Look at all those coincidences my Larry, for June!! My mother-in-laws birthday is the 11th of June, she turned 90 this year, and my son Adam`s birthday is the 8th. So there are many celebrations for June aren`t there? I didn`t know that you wrote that one without knowing that some of the details were in fact correct!! How`s that for telepathy kiddo!! It just proves even more that we`ve been soul mates forever!! Well done for getting it featured for the day too, I`m very proud of my Larry.

I love ya sweet cheeks

Hi Dear G,

It's amazing to me that when you told me you were going to spend the whole day in the office, I wanted to write you something funny to cheer you up!  I dashed it off in less than yen minutes, and it was meant to be a humorous fantasy, to make you laugh.  Then boom, it turns out to be closer to the truth than I ever dreamed, and what started out as a lark, got featured on Cosmo for the day!  I agree with you; soulmates telepathy.

Love you,

Larry

Hi Dear Cherie,

It's really funny that I wrote that on a lark, because Georgina was in a huff, and said she was going to spend the whole day in her office.  So I wrote a fantasy poem to cheer her up.  I made the whole scenario up, and then amazingly, part of it turned out to be true.  Even more crazy is that Cosmo featured it for the day.  Anyhow, thanks for the sweet words, that always make me happy!

Hugs, Peace and Love,

xox Larry
