THE OLD FROG OF TENNESSEE

THE OLD FROG OF TENNESSEE

Down in the swampland in grand old Tennessee
Lived an old frog who amongst the river roamed free
The colour of his skin was a bright luminous green
One of the craziest frogs there has ever been

Jumping from a lilly to a daffodil
He was a frog who wouldn't be still
All over the swamp his croaks could be heard
I don't know frog language so couldn't understand a word

In frog terms I guess he was about twenty four
I'm no expert so I can't really be sure
People all around would take his picture and a selfie
Making this old frog both rich and wealthy
