The One

I catch myself smiling wondering if he does it too. The thought of him is so new. I question what to do. I test him just to see if maybe, just maybe he breaks out of character but his acting skills are good... maybe too good to be an actor. I catch a smile but it wasn’t resulted from me... it was from her, the one, he claims to be hers. It’s her, he always stumbles to her after he trips from me. But he doesn’t realize that I’m tripping. I guess both of us are clumsy. A wave of wrong emotions hit me after as I fall hard from any interaction. The bay is calm in the moment, it seems as if the water levels are in alignment.. until the wave hits out of nowhere. He claims to be an open book but I cannot read him. How can one feel so right but feel so wrong. There’s invisible inc written somewhere. The universe is giving me signs. I see 11:11 and 1:11. It’s the same series of numbers. But he is giving me the wrong signs. How do I know if he is the one when he and I already claim to have it, to see it... but do we truly feel it? As one? Is it her or is it me? Is it him or is it you? For me there’s tension regardless of who I choose. For you there’s tension if you choose me... however I cannot read you and there’s invisible inc written somewhere. Perhaps we should let the universe choose for us. One thing that I do know is that it all started with catching myself smiling and just so you know... that felt right.
