The Onion Man 🤣

Can you recall the ‘Onion man’ who peddled on the street?
His bicycle was that heavy laden, I don’t know how he sat on his seat
And I reminisce this man, such the strangest of blokes
He turned up in our little town, selling onions to the local folks
Now when I think about him, back in those bygone days
Where on earth did he live about, that thought fills me with amaze
You see in our little town, everybody knew everyone
And the onion man was but a stranger, when all was said and done
Tho he travelled heavy laden only on his bike
Goodness me what a weight that must have been, and I bet he had a hike
Isn’t it funny and I find it a trifle sad
Those days when the onion man made his mysterious appearance, was the best I ever had!!!
