The Outlander

The Outlander

I am a stranger from a strange land
It has always been this way
No belonging, no tribe, no nation.

I am a watcher
Recording time and space
Different hues and changing faces

I am the Outlander
Observer not partaker
Apart and not belonging

I come from afar
From a distant and lonely star
Standing on the edge of time
Searching untold galaxies
For reason and rhyme

I am the Outlander
This Earth is not my home
I am a mind made flesh
Recording for the mirrored tome

I am a solitary watcher
And here I stand alone
I know all their games and foibles
I am the Witch and I am the Crone.

Nothing is unknown to me
I am your past, your present and your future
I am that I am

I am the Outlander
A Soul in flesh from a distant Galaxy
And All that Is
I Am.
