The real, and very potent, power of this piece lies in its simplicity and sincerity. In its contained and concentrated form, there is a store of resonating energy which feels ready to burst forth at any moment.
Surely, that is the mark of a master.
It is always such an honor to me when a greatly gifted poet such as yourself lauds my work. I will accept your calling me a master, as long as you will allow me to ennoble you with that title too.
By the way...did you know that there was a Japanese short story writer who so loved the works of Poe that he took as his pen name, Edogawa Ranpo?! His book, Japanese Tales of Mystery & Imagination, is well worth reading.
The Haiku is yours!!....... your pen belongs to the Gods of creativity.......POE would applaud!!....... bravo brother...... well conceived!!.......PINNED.......LOVE and ROCKETS!!.......T xo. ?✳✴☀
Again you overwhelm me with your words. I'm going to have to visit a shrink, to get my ego under control, and I'm going to blame it all on you. However, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My Dear Debs,

Few words with loads of sentiments....I believe the pen can feel your pain...It has written so much about your loss...
Love you
Hi Sweet Rose,
As they say, "The Pen is Mightier Than the Sword". The pen records my pain for all to see, while the sword attacks my soul.
Love you too,
