The Path is Long

Therapy Helps

The Path is Long

The path is long,
but I’m committed to growth.

The path is long,
there’s always another step.

The path is long,
prolonged mental-health.

The path is long,
recovery requires strength.

The path is long,
I cannot always be strong.

The path is long,
I barely resemble myself.

The path is long,
born a variable to bad math.

The path is long,
what’s right and wrong?

The path is long,
I remain amidst the strain.

The path is long,
stepping away from past pain.

The path is long,
I want to continue and belong.

The path is long,
filled with many obstacles.

The path is long,
for ourselves and loved ones.

The path is long,
but I will continue on!

The path is long,
I admit it’s impossible alone.

The path is long,
trust in those who you can.

I was there before too, some days are easier than others. My wife is my rock, she understands that I’m putting in the work … patience is required.
