The Path You Choose

My first poem

The grass is greener on the other side
Take the path where many have died
The path will lead to a castle so grand
But you will soon find it was built upon sand
The sand will wash the castle away
Leaving the kingdom in great dismay

The king and queen are being mocked
They took the men to the docks
At sunrise the men will swing
As the Gospel choir begin to sing
