The phone

The phone

I can tell

Between your words ....truth

Your deceptions

Lies

 Pretensions

     I can tell

  When a rat is present,

       Past, future

  I can smell

Your lies

 Deceptions

  Confabulations

When you call me on a blocked number

    I can tell

         I know it's you

    Waiting

          At a knife edge

Holding the phone to your mouth

            With your breath

   Behind the mouthpiece

             Calling for death

                 Behind the curtain

      With your weapon

           The phone

                How you use this

When you call me on

A blocked number

Hi  Jai  I can relate to your write An ex partner of mine
used to ring me all hours of the night, early morning
from a private number.it used to frighten me,
at the time my mother was very  ill, it was a nightmare
Until i had to have the police, they traced two numbers he was using
he was brought to justice for harassment though
To this day I hate to answer private or unknown numbers.
Great write!
Best wishes Debs
