The piece

The piece

Have you ever carried someone in the depths of your soul?

In the pit of your stomach you knew they were the other half to your whole

Like the last piece to your puzzle?

I’m not talking the oatmeal to your butter

But the flour to your cake

Because without flour it would never bake

It would never rise

To its fullest potential

I don’t mean a name followed by credentials

But more so an equal

Like your partner in crime

What good is a clock that doesn’t tell time?

Or a watch that won’t tick?

You can’t build a fire with no sticks

Because every powerful thing contains substance

I know this sounds like non-sense

But since I have your attention

Focus on this…

Alone, you are a powerhouse

So together you’ll be a movement

Wonderfully constructed.  Loved the comparison of butter to oatmeal and flour to the cake -  one adds 'flavor' but the other is essential.  And you tied the two together so well and made the case with rising to potential.  Love it.  Enjoyed it very much.
