The Platform of Parting

Father and daughter relationship

The Platform of Parting

Hands entwined, a solemn walk.
Father and daughter, one last talk.
Upon the railway's ancient platform.
Turning the new chapter, brew storm.

Ten years fled, a dear wife’s  promise.
"Care for our child, her life epitomise.
He molded life to that agreed decree.
Both mother and father, so she'd see.

Awakening small dreams ,to the wildest  things.
Wild  Animal kingdom, to infinite celestial rings.
Guiding her every path ,dogged steadfastly .
As the sands of sacrifice , sprayed decisively.

Now the city's siren academy calls arrive.
Her admission sealed, bet she'll strive  .
To spread her wings up, on the  soaring flight
Leaving his world, part dark shadow ,half light.

The railway platform sighs, their roads divide
Her endless dawn, his every other evening-tide
Anxious thoughts cloud ,his mind near betray
Distant drums blowing aloud ,ahead lonely days

Then comes the engine whistle's piercing cry.
The wheels begin their roll in rhythmic sigh.
One final embrace, her  cheerful warmth to save.
He loads her world, waving bye coach by coach.

Ho,the train departs, high curlycue stream.
Li-Angel beaming face, a bittersweet dream.
Follow dawning struck, her heart reprised.
Alone at last, her innocence now comprised.

Uniting someone , the rails did some part.
Distance a dagger , in each haughty heart.
Joy and sorrow's filled platform a mingled cry.
As trains and lives , rendezvous boohoo.
