The Poet's Suicide Note
In the sky there is a gray
The same 'ol defeats singin'
I'm just an oil slick
On the road to an empty gin palace
Where I scream out my secrets
In the this carnival of grief
"You tease, you flirt, you torturer"
How am I to discern
The suspicions from the lies?
A crazy investigation?
Into what we already know
Is the microphone into Humpty Dumpty's
Broken shells straight from hypocrisy's lips
Give me the rope
I'll swing from my troubles and yours
And wait for the newspaper
To report the truth
HE DIED FROM THE BRIGHTNESS
OF BETRAYAL'S SPOTLIGHT
Try tellin' that to the boys on both sides
Well I hope you live long now
I pray the Lord your soul to keep
It's so sad
I never thought
Life could be so cheap......

Hey SYD!!...of course it's fictional...... I'm about to get married and my life is filled with music and madness ?......I was just practicing tragic circumstance...... I chose the picture first and decided to write it..... it took me ten minutes , maybe fifteen to complete this effort,...... just wanted to push my boundaries......I saw the picture...... wrote the prose...... and pushed "SAVE"........ sometimes when you write with intense concentration interesting stuff surfaces...... definitely different from my stuff....... but I had a LOT of fun doing it!!......thanx for the cool comment bro!!..... peace n stuff.....T xo ❤

Hi Tony
I have already read it atleast 8 times. Its so thought provoking coupled with sadness. For me, this depicts the complex wiring of a poets mind and how differently he or she thinks to the world. Yet many times so easily misunderstood or totally not understood by the people around.
It also makes me feel it might relate to past experiences where people have undermined or humiliated someones poetic endeavours.
This expression speaks so abstractly yet so loudly about the death of an inner poet who feels helpless and crippled due to dogmas of the hypocritical world.
i am Stoked and in awe of this expression
i think i will continue to read it few times everyday.

YAY!! CHARU!!.....you nailed my intent here... I was hoping someone would...... in my mind I was seeing a struggle between partners ~ two writers/friends..... one takes credit for the other's work.... and so the inevitable happens...... he takes his own life out of sheer disappointment over his life-long friend's promises and shared beliefs..... GREED being the premise...... but .......I did it in 10-15 minutes or so....... consequently, I wasn't able to qualify or quantify.....I was just challenging myself in the impromptu sense of the words..... trying to gain control over 'stream of consciousness' type of writing..... anyway, I enjoyed the effort........ and what's so interesting is that ....YOU alone ......seemed to find exactly what was going on in my head as I surfed the waves of creativity...... you're awfully cool dear poet sister!!.......thanx TONS for this!! .......you're awesome!!......T xo ?✴❤???
Ps..please understand that when you do this kind of impromptu write...... the details are left to the reader... so when I say you ALONE understood my intent...... I'm not kidding......
