THE POWER OF PRAYER

They came while I was asleep 

Heavenly creatures surrounded my bed

Dressed in light of heavens brightness 

My prayers I suppose, was heard and felt 

The ticking sound of life as I knew 

Was set to expire in a month or two 

The doctor with sadness of heart shook his head 

And looking into my dim view said 

There is nothing more that he can do 

As the curtain was pulled 

I was left alone with my thoughts 

I glanced with a smile at the flowers 

That my friends had brought 

The words of my mother came to my mind 

Prayer can change things every time 

I close my eyes and begin to pray

And a miracle took place that very day 

Angels with healing wings 

Answered my prayers 

And the sickness of cancer was eradicated.
